Sunday:
Theme: Celebrating our Parish
Activity - At 10:30 mass, students will be greeting, bringing up the offertory, and singing with the cantor. After communion the greeters will meet Mrs. Walsh in the foyer to hand out prayer cards to the parishioners on their way out.
Monday:
Theme: Celebrating our Community
Dress - St. Joseph Apparel or blue
Activity:
8:00-8:45am - All school Mass with Bishop DeGrood
Invite Bishop & community to tour and for treats in the foyer (8:30-10:30am)
1:45pm Assembly with Rep. Dusty Johnson
2:45-2:55pm Picture to form a human cross in gym.
Tuesday:
Theme: Celebrating our Students
Dress - Wear your favorite activity (For example, if I enjoy reading, then I would wear something that portrayed that. If I enjoyed soccer, then I would wear something that portrayed that….etc…)
Activity:
Door Decorating Contest
Wednesday: Early Dismissal 12:30pm
Theme: Celebrating our Nation
Dress -American Clothing….red/white/blue or stars/stripes
Activity
Patriotic Rosary will be prayed in the gym at 8:40. 4th & 5th grade will sit in the shape of a Rosary in the gym and lead it. CSW committee will direct you when you come in. Kindergarten through 3rd will sit around the perimeter of the Rosary.
Thursday:
Theme: Celebrating Vocations
Dress - What do you want to be when you grow up?
Activity
We will have the students walk in circles in the gym as a parade of their jobs at 8:45
Friday:
Theme: Celebrating Faculty, Staff & Volunteers
Dress - Class Colors
Pre-K - Yellow Kinder - White
1st - Blue 2nd - Green 3rd - Red 4th - Gray
5th - Pink
Activity:
1:30-2:45 Talent Show.
Sticky note shake contest.
Saturday:
Theme: Celebrating our Families
Activity - School Carnival 10am-2pm
NWEA Testing:
February 4-6 for Math
February 9-11 for ELA
If your child is scheduled to serve for Mass, please have them arrive by 7:45. This is to ensure they have proper time to get ready before Mass starts.
This week, we'll be focusing on the importance of Meekness in our daily lives and how it shapes character. Please join us in encouraging your child to embrace this value both at school and at home.
