What is a Sprint?
A math sprint is a quick math check of skills that students are working on during our math lesson (addition, subtraction, missing parts, seeing groups, etc.) Students are given 90 seconds to complete as many problems on the sprint page as they can. At the beginning of the year it is normal for many students to only answer a few questions. As the year progress there should be an increase in the number of problems that students can complete during the minute given. You may use the incomplete sprint problems to practice at home.
If you see the letters "IC" on your child's paper in means that we have completed that portion together "IN CLASS."

Virtue of the Week - Generosity
The Holy Spirit Was Sent by the Father and the Son
The word spirit comes from a Hebrew word meaning "breath."
God breathes the breath of life into each of us and fills us with His Holy Spirit.
Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit was fulfilled on Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon Mary and the Apostles.
Pentecost is the birthday of the Church.
The Holy Spirit continues to lead us to Holiness in the Catholic Church.
