What is a Sprint?
A math sprint is a quick math check of skills that students are working on during our math lesson (addition, subtraction, missing parts, seeing groups, etc.) Students are given 90 seconds to complete as many problems on the sprint page as they can. At the beginning of the year it is normal for many students to only answer a few questions. As the year progress there should be an increase in the number of problems that students can complete during the minute given. You may use the incomplete sprint problems to practice at home.
If you see the letters "IC" on your child's paper in means that we have completed that portion together "IN CLASS."
