Monday Sept 15- Day 1 NWEA- start Math
Tuesday Sept 16- PE day-- wear PE clothes to school/ finish NWEA math (there will be several days with make up time built into our schedule for all three tests)/ practice fire drill 2pm
Wednesday Sept 17- all school Mass, 9:10am/ start NWEA reading
Thursday Sept 18- PE day-- wear PE clothes to school/ finish NWEA reading
Friday Sept 19- no testing today (Language use test- next week, along with any time still needed for Math/Reading)/ adoration, reading buddies

Our learning this week:
ELA: writing: book study packet; reading: Charlotte's Web book study (in class); grammar- review of Unit 1 grammar- sentence types, run on sentences, subjects and predicates- retest later in week.
**Spelling instruction will begin week of Sept 22
Math: Unit 1: place value
Religion: how to read and interpret scripture; discussing Genesis and God's creation
Science: Moon and Tides unit
Art: Kandinsky Trees

PLANNER INFO: every student must have a planner book. All assignments are to be written down every day including worksheet names, workbook page numbers, and other specifics. This information is provided for the students on the board and on the doc cam and planners are filled out as a group activity together at the end of the day.
UNIFORMS: if your student is wearing pants, polo shirts should be tucked in and belts worn per the school's uniform policy.
