Monday September 28- PJ DAY, specialist: PE- wear PE clothes to school (bring uniform in a bag, please label each piece); finish NWEA reading; review for grammar unit 1 quiz (Tuesday)
Tuesday September 29- TROPICAL TUESDAY, specialist: music; grammar Unit 1 quiz (sentence types, simple subjects and predicates, run on sentences)
Wednesday September 30- FUN SOCKS AND HAT DAY, Mass 9:10am, specialists: music and PE (bring PE clothes in a bag, please label each piece); NWEA- finish any tests as needed
Thursday October 1- CAREER DAY, specialist: media; NWEA- finish any tests as needed
Friday October 2 - SPIRIT WEAR DAY, specialist: Spanish; Adoration; mini end of fall testing celebration
Our learning this week:
ELA: read aloud: City of Ember ; week 1 spelling- brief reassessment for those who need it; grammar: review for Unit 1 test, start Unit 2 (nouns); introduce first book report (Book Brochure- see "Class Projects- info" header for an example project and rubric)
Math: Unit 1 assessment, begin unit 2 (addition and subtraction review)
Religion: Spirit of Truth unit 2; Mass 9:10am Wednesday
Science: unit 1: Solar System- eclipses, tides

Thursday September 24- specialist: media; NWEA reading/ finish math as needed
Friday September 25 - PICTURE DAY 10:50am- must be in uniform (no free dress this day); specialist: Spanish; Adoration; finish any NWEA reading or math as needed (language use next week)
