News Reporters' Assignment Before Trial

The document below explains what the news reporters will be working on prior to the trial. They will do the bulk of writing the newspaper before the trial begins, so it is important that this group manages their time wisely.

After the trial is over, they are responsible for writing one final article summarizing what took place in their class's trial and what the verdict was. I highly recommend printing their newspaper once it is done and displaying it somewhere prominent (it is usually over 10 pages long!) The students appreciate having the newspaper posted and it becomes a sort of symbol of how hard the entire class worked on the trial.
