Conference overview 

धर्मार्थकाममोक्षाणां साधनं नाम विज्ञानम्। प्रबन्धने च तत्सर्वं विद्या तदेव कथ्यते॥

"Knowledge which is the means for achieving righteousness, wealth, desires, and liberation, and which provides comprehensive management of all these, is true education." 

The Indian Knowledge System in Management is a three days national conference organized by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. The aim of this conference is three-fold. First, to identify and recognize the insights in traditional wisdom and culture of India that can contribute to management in terms of theoretical models, practical applications, and avenues for future research. Second, to present the grounded research about Indian culture its expression at the workplace, peculiar features of Indian business systems, financial and economic systems and institutions, and their implication on management. Third, pedagogical aspects of Indian management. In this stream, we aim to include articles about successful experiments of incorporating the Indian perspective in management education and innovative pedagogies to familiarize the students with the unique features of India and the relevance and impact of including contemplative practices originated in India in management education.

Note:

•  Participants can submit and present their works in either English or Hindi

• There is no registration fee, however, registration is compulsory to attend the conference

• There is limited accommodation space therefore, we will provide paid accommodation only to early entries

• Certificates will be given to all
