Four guiding principles for reopening Sts. Joseph & John School:

1. The safety and well-being of students and school employees are our primary concerns. We will do what we must so that everyone in our schools feels safe and undeterred.

2. Everything possible is being done to reopen school buildings and provide a faith-filled education in a safe and timely manner.

3. The progress of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ohio remains unpredictable, and there remains the potential that school buildings must be closed again if a significant rise in cases were to occur.  SJJ Digital will provide a consistent transition if we are required to closed.

4. As Catholics it is our duty to uphold the ideals of social justice – we expect all members of our school community to take personal responsibility for the common good as well as their own safety.

Sts. Joseph and John School has created a plan for the 2020 - 2021 school year following the guidelines given by the Ohio Department of Education, The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and the CDC.  The safety of our students, faculty and staff were foremost in all decisions. The SJJ Task Force strived to construct a plan to provide consistency for our students while following the safety guidelines.
