100 Years of
St John's

2022 will be a year for celebrating 100 years of learning at St John’s Catholic Primary School. The completion of our mural to commemorate this occasion is the first of many events for our community. We hope you stop and look at our mural as you walk or drive along Eleanor Street. Last year, children from St John’s worked with artist Justine McAllister, to provide a design brief to inform this beautiful creation. Please see the linked video on the site to hear from the children about the meaning behind the different elements of our mural.

After the last two years we will be using the opportunities to celebrate St John’s as a way to reconnect with each other. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful school as we share our story and listen to yours and what St John’s means to you.

Throughout the year we will be hosting various events starting with our Welcome Picnic for our current families. We hope to hold our picnic in March while the weather is still warm and still maintaining COVIDSafe practices. Information will be sent out to families very soon.

We will continue to post what is happening on this site as well as through our Facebook page and email communication to parents.

If you or someone you know went to St. John's School or was a part of the community over its history, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us via the form here.

Thanks for visiting our page and we look forward to welcoming you to St John’s soon.
