International Engineering Educators Certification Program (IEECP): Twelve faculty members have completed International Engineering Educators Certification Program (IEECP) from Indo-Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) during 2019, 2020 and 2021. The objective of the certification program was to impart knowledge on how learning happens based on the major theories of learning including brain-based learning, dynamic classroom by using a variety of active learning strategies, transparency in assessment by creating rubrics and providing constructive verbal and written feedback, implement collaborative learning activities in order to develop real world professional skills needed for employability, use/create virtual labs in theory & lab. Classes, etc.

Facilitator Certification Program: Ten faculty members have undergone the Facilitator Certification Programme in Human Resource Development by College for Leadership and Huma Resource Development (CLHRD), Mangaluru, and were presented with the “Facilitator Award” on 18 January 2020. This training program helped to improve the teaching-learning process followed in the department.
