Take a look at the video... In your notebook, write down what you notice and what you wonder. Feel free to watch it many times to get the most recorded... We will have a contest!
Add your questions as single sticky notes to the Jamboard. Remember what group you are in and use the Jamboard page that corresponds to your group number. One question per sticky!
Keep some detailed notes on your Google Doc Notebook.
Use Google draw and sketch what you think is happening. Feel free to draw on paper and then take a picture to upload if that is easier.
We will share our models in our breakout lab groups. Be prepared to share your screen and talk about what you have done and what you are thinking is happening. You will be in pairs.
With a partner.... look at your questions on your Jamboards. Sort them into testable and untestable questions. Select one of your testable questions and develop and experiment or series of experiments to help answer your questions.
Check in with each other before class
Each group of two students will share their results with another pair. What question were you exploring? What did you find out? What new questions do you have?
Can we use a different chromatography method to further answer our question?
What can be added to your models after your confirmations and further learnings?
We will have 5 min per group to share what questions they have explored and what they have found out about chromatography in the process
