Our kindergarten day begins at 8:15 am. Doors open at 8:00 am, and the bell rings at 8:15; however, St. John Brebeuf offers before-care options that start at 6:30 am.
A typical day in kindergarten includes:
Morning meeting
Religion
Math
Reading/language arts
Science
Social Studies
Small group centers focusing on math, language arts, and reading
Special classes (library, Spanish, gym, art & music)
Snack time
Free choice (blocks, dramatic play, Legos, trains, etc.
Recess, lunch
Extended day is available for students till 6 pm.
