Homework

Students in 1st grade will receive both math and reading homework throughout the week for extra practice! 

No homework on Friday! :-)

A spelling list will also be given out each week on Monday (focusing on a specific phonics pattern and/or sight words) and the words will be tested the following Monday. We will practice the words in class each day in order for the kids to only "review" over the weekend!

The subjects of religion, science, and social studies will only need to be "studied" if we have a little mini assessment throughout the trimester :)

Math: Tuesday and Thursday (review sheet from our in class lesson)

Reading: Monday and Wednesday (differentiated)

Language Arts: Short i spelling list

Religion: None

Science: None

Social Studies: None
