Welcome to social studies

My name is Amy Vitacca and I am the middle school Social Studies teacher.  The first homework assignment is to print my Classroom Procedures and Binder Set-Up so you will know how my class is organized and run.  Parents and students, please read this page, then put it in the front of the History binder.  After I check to make sure the History textbook is covered, I would like it to be keep at home rather than carried back and forth from school to home.  The only supplies required for class are the planner, a binder and a pen.  It is important to keep the History binder organized as I will be collecting the binders at the end of each nine weeks to do a binder check.  This will count as a test grade.   All homework assignments, quiz dates, and test dates will be listed on my web site.  Additionally, I will put the outline for each chapter on my web site so you can access them at home.  In order to help you stay updated on grades and missing assignments, I will try to post grades several times a week.  Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
