Students in grades 6-8 researched a famous women in history. They researched their accomplishments and their contributions to society.

6th graders have wrapped up the ancient China unit by completing a doodle project, incorporating Chinese temples and making a connection between ancient China and the movie, Mulan.

September 2024

• Sixth graders learned about Ancient Mesopotamia. They completed a Sargon project that allowed them to further learn about the ruler of the Akkadian Empire. 

• Students also created posters after learning about the different Sumerian inventions, which we still use today.

Students have wrapped up the unit on French & Indian War and the Road to the Revolution, learning about the Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party and the acts imposed by British Parliament.

September 2024

• 7th graders just finished learning about Early Explorers. They completed a project on an explorer of their choice that they presented to the class. We are looking forward to moving into our Colonial Unit next.
