About Ms. DeSarro

Hello! I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade for another year at Siuslaw Elementary School! This is my second year teaching 4th grade. I love teaching and working with kids. I have previously worked as a 2nd grade teacher and elementary computer teacher. I was also a police officer for 15 years in San Diego, California. I moved to Florence just over two years ago and I love living on the Oregon coast! I have two dogs Riley and Hoover who I love playing with during my free time. I also like to workout at the gym, swim, and run. I have completed many marathons and half marathons. I am also a huge, lifelong Los Angeles Lakers fan! I am very excited for the opportunity to teach your child. I look forward to getting to know the exceptional students and families of Room 15!
