This will be my ninth year as a full-time elementary teacher at Siuslaw Elementary School and my seventh year teaching third grade.

I am a Siuslaw alumnus myself, and I am grateful to be teaching in the school and community that helped shape me.

After graduating from Siuslaw, I attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in education and learning. Shortly thereafter, I received my Oregon teaching license.

I moved back home to Florence, where I taught preschool for a year and substitute taught for a year while completing my Master’s of Education with an endorsement in reading. I also attained a certificate of completion in the area of talented and gifted education while working through my Master’s degree.
