Be Awesome

You are awesome! Don’t forget that. Live up to that. Be an example of awesomeness to others. If you are awesome, you don’t need to tell that to others. They will already know! Be humble and don’t brag.

Mistakes

We all make them. Don’t stress out if you make a mistake. Instead, learn from it and do better next time. We do not make fun of others when they make a mistake. We help our classmates.

Respect

We will respect the classroom (virtual and at school), our classmates, the teacher, visitors in class, and ourselves. We set the example for others. We don’t worry about what others are doing. We lead by example. Words I’d like to hear in class are: Please, Thank You, You’re Welcome, Excuse Me, Yes Please, No Thank You, and I’m Sorry. Politeness goes a long way. Practice it here. People treat you better when you are polite to them. This is a start.

Empathy

Learn it. Live it. Love it. You will know what this means by the end of the year. We will talk about it a lot. Kindness MATTERS.
