The International Summer School of Croatian Language, Literature and Culture “Zoranic’s Arcady” is appropriate for all students who want to get to know the Croatian language, from the elementary to advanced level. In the first day of the Summer School all students are tested and grouped in three classes according to their level of competence. Minimum age required to participate is 18. An adult must accompany younger participants.
The programme of the Summer School is designed for all foreign citizens who want to achieve a good and correct usage of the Croatian standard language. The programme is appropriate for foreign Slavic and Croatian scholars, students of Slavic and Croatian studies, members of the Croatian diaspora, foreign citizens who live and work in Croatia, and all other individuals who are interested in learning Croatian language and discovering Croatian culture.

The courses are based on contemporary and well-equipped textbooks, and courses will also be taught with the help of multimedia presentations. Some courses might also include fieldwork.
Textbooks and other necessary materials can be bought at University Library. Besides that, students can use the rich library of the Department of Croatian Studies, and the nearby Scientific Library Zadar, which is one of the best-equipped libraries in Croatia.
Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive a certificate of attendance, a diploma according to their level of competence, and 3 ECTS points.
