I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University at Albany, State University of New York, and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Center of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (CMSA) at Harvard University.

My research fields include Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Economics of Sciences and Technology, and Labor Economics. I am particularly interested in the labor market of highly skilled workers, incentives issues in research and development, and the processes of knowledge creation and knowledge diffusion.
