Welcome to my website!
I am Zhiniang Peng (彭峙酿). Now I am an associate professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST).
My main research area is cyber security, includes applied cryptography, software security, threat hunting and cloud security. I have plenty of experience in both offensive and defensive security and published many research in both academia and industry. I am also a bug hunter in my free time. I have helped Microsoft, Intel, Aodbe and other vendors fix hundreds of vulnerabilities, including MadLicense, PrintNightmare, ZeroLogon, IIS RCE, EOS RCE and other vulnerabilities that have significant influence in the industry. Also I once had ranked #1 on the MSRC most valuable security researcher list for several consecutive quarters.
I started learning cybersecurity when I was a middle school student (Since 2003) and started taking part-time job on cybersecurity when I was a high school student. I did B.E. in material science in South China University of Technology (SCUT) from 2009 to 2013. After that I return to cybersecurity. I get my Ph.D degree in Post-Quantum Cryptography in SCUT from 2013 to 2017. After that I joined Qihoo 360 Core Security and work there as an security researcher for about 3 year. Then I work as Principal Security Researcher and Principal Architect of at Sangfor for 4 years. Now I am an associate professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
I like finding bugs in the cyber world.
