Short bio:
Kai Zhao’s research focuses on AI and Machine Learning. Specifically, he developed a research program focusing on understanding human behavior with AI and computational methods, and modeling how the dynamics in human behaviors can shape and alter the dynamics of the AI system (Human-Center AI). He has published prolifically in 33 refereed journals and conference proceedings, such as IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, AAAI, IJCAI, EMNLP, CIKM, ICDM, BigData, Scientific Reports, and Information Sciences. Dr. Zhao is currently serving as an associate editor at Electronic Commerce Research (Springer).
