Project: Developed DeepPHY, a deep neural network based receiver for IEEE 802.11ax WLAN Systems

  1. Proposed DeepPHY, a DNN based architecture, to replace conventional channel equalizer and phase error correction for 802.11ax WLAN systems

  2. Evaluated DeepPHY with synthetic datasets under various scenarios and working modes covering almost all the real user cases in terms of bit error rate (BER) and packet error rate (PER)

  3. Developed a prototype using the state-of-art CISCO IEEE 802.11ax AP and USRP and validated DeepPHY with real-world data

Apr. 2014 - Aug. 2014

In the end of my second-year study in France, I conducted an engineering internship in Le Groupe Sigma who is a software company comprising 800 employees. My mission of this internship focused on the development of a module for a financial software named Advantage Finance (ADFI).

Initially, I have studied the mechanism of .Net Framework and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). The main work was developing a module which enables the connection between ADFI and Microsoft Excel. In addition, an algorithm which realizes the fast switch between different versions of the software was designed. Furthermore, a challenging problem of creating a modal login window subject to application compatibility was successfully solved.

I have successfully completed the targeted work in advance by implementing and validating the module at client-sides. My mentor's praise and an extra performance bonus valued 1,400 euros are the best affirmation and encouragement for this internship.

Jul. 2013 - Aug. 2013

In the summer of 2013, I conducted my internship in Electricity Distribution of France. The mission was to analyze and classify the rural grid expansion documents. To this end, classification criteria were proposed. Moreover, I helped to test the new archiving software which is written in JAVA. The following picture shows the archiving software and the involved documents.
