Vega Mask
washable & reusable fabric mask manufactured in Taiwan

Features
The outer layer (Layer 1) uses an antibacterial microfiber cloth. It has a comfortable feel while maintaining breathability. Melt blown non-woven fabric (Layer 2) was attached to the outer layer to make a composite fabric. Meltblown non-woven fabric (Layer 3) is also attached to the inner layer. Vega mask is the only mask in the world that uses two layers of meltblown nonwoven fabric. Therefore, the antibacterial effect is also outstanding. The inner layer (Layer 4) also uses a microfiber cloth, which is kind to the skin and provides cool touch.
Microfiber is a chemically composed fiber such as nylon and polyester with a diameter of 8 micrometers or less, and has the same water absorption, breathability, and heat retention as cotton. (Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microfiber) One of the advantages of utilizing microfiber rather than cotton for masks is the prevention of inhaling the fibers of the mask.
Washing - Hand soak in neutral detergent or liquid soap for about 3 minutes and hang dry. Avoid using bleach and fabric softener.
Reusing – Vega Mask maintains 99.9% sterilization rate even after 90 washes, however, the static electricity of the melt blow nonwoven fabric starts decreasing after 40 wash. Replacement is recommended at about 40 washes for optimal sterilization effectiveness.
Mask Efficiency
Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) test conducted by the Taiwan Textile Research Institute
has proven that Vega Mask has over 90% filtration efficiency of 0.3 micrometers (µm) particles, 99% bacterial filtration efficiency of 1.0 micrometers (µm), and 99.9% filtration efficiency at 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5).
