The Mission

To use our knowledge, skills and compassion to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. The Nursing Department shares the mission of Duhok government from 2005 up to date .In addition, the mission of the Nursing Department is to prepare individuals for successful integration into the profession of nursing by providing students of nursing with an excellent theory-lead, evidence-based educational program with a focus on professional nursing standards, patient safety, cultural diversity, community service, and rural healthcare.

Jobs of the nurse in hospital:

1. Dressing and injection.
2. Watching patients in hospital.
3. Offering first-aid to patients in hospital, and continuous connection between patient and doctor.
4. Treating patients in emergency conditions.
5. Offering expertise in drugs to the benefit of patients.
