PART 1: ABOUT ZADOK TEMPLE
Launched on 01 September 2019, ZADOK TEMPLE (ZATEM) is a Christo-centric (Christ-centred) and Word-based THIRD DAY apostolic and prophetic church that is located in Silverton , Pretoria East, in the Republic of South Africa. Having been in the ministry for more than two decades, PM Ranyabu (an apostle of the Lord) and SJ Ranyabu (a prophet of the Lord) are the pioneers and overseers of this church. Since the five-fold ministry gifts were given in order to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, as an apostolic team, we have been given the grace to recognize gifts and callings in the church. Therefore, it is our God-given mandate to empower, to charge and to release the saints into their respective callings.
As ZATEM, we are APOSTOLIC in that, we have been commissioned to go into the world to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). We pioneer breakthrough in places of apparent dearth. We are SENT ONES who bear the message and the essence of the ONE WHO SENT US.
We are also PROPHETIC in that, we are able to hear what God is currently saying to the church, and not only what He said to the church in the past (Revelation 2 & 3).
Finally, as you journey through this website and learn more about us, we encourage you to take advantage of the grace upon our lives and be empowered in whatever area that you serve the Lord in.
1.1 OUR NAME
ZADOK was a High Priest during the reign of King David (in the Tabernacle of David) and also during the reign of King Solomon (in the Temple of Solomon). As a High Priest during his time, he was the only one who was permitted to go into the HOLY OF HOLIES where the presence of God was situated and where he ministered to the Lord God Almighty on the Day of Atonement.
As a THIRD DAY church, our view is that:
Ø In the OUTER COURT, we as Christians HEAR the word (FIRST DAY churches)
Ø In the INNER COURT, we as Christians OBEY the word (SECOND DAY churches)
Ø But in the HOLY OF HOLIES, we as Christians BECOME the word (THIRD DAY churches)
Therefore, as a THIRD DAY church, ZATEM's raizon d'etre (purpose) is to be a similar kind of priesthood (preachers, worshipers, intercessors and members) who will BECOME THE WORD, and who will go into the presence of the Lord God Almighty and minister to Him before we can minister to the congregation.
1.2 OUR VISION, OUR MISSION & OUR MANDATE
Our VISION:
To be a FAITHFUL PRIESTHOOD that will minister to the Lord in His sanctuary (Our Vision verse is Ezekiel 44:15-16 & 23)
Our MISSION
To TEACH (impart knowledge) the saints about Christ
To EQUIP (empower) the saints in Christ
To ACTIVATE (make active) the saints in Christ
To MATURE (develop) the saints in Christ
To SEND (dispatch) the saints through Christ
So, our MISSION can be summarised with the acronym "TEAMS"
Our MANDATE:
To RAISE UP apostolic and prophetic people who will infiltrate all spheres of life with the mind to establish the Kingdom of God in their respective fields.
To ESTABLISH New Testament-pattern churches (ie. ZATEM campuses) in South Africa.
1.3 OUR LOGO & ITS MEANING
BLUE COLOUR - It represents Heaven (the dwelling place of God the Father)
RED COLOUR - It represents the blood of Jesus Christ
DOVE - It represents the Holy Ghost (who is also God the Holy Spirit)
CROSS - It represents the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (who is God the Son)
OPEN BIBLE - It represents the written Word of God (the Logos or Dabar)
1.4 WHAT WE BELIEVE IN (OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH)
At ZATEM we believe in the following:
The unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 1:1- 3; Col 1:16).

The establishment of the church upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ as chief cornerstone ((Ephesians 2:20).

The Lord's supper or Holy communion (Luke 22:19- 20; 1Corinthians 11:23 - 26)
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:1 & 14; Colossians 2:9; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14 [grace (Jesus Christ), love (God the Father) and fellowship (Holy Spirit)] .
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1; John 8:58; John 10:30; John 20:28; Titus 2:13;), in His virgin birth (Isa 7:14; Matt 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38)

We believe in His atoning death through His shed blood (Isaiah 53:4-6; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 2:2)
We believe in His bodily resurrection ((Matt 28:5-10; Luke 24:5, 36-43; John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 15:2-8)
We believe in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19; Acts 1:9-11; Luke 24:50-51; Ephesians 1:20) and
We also believe in His personal return in power and glory (Zechariah 14:4; Matt 24:30; Luke 21:25-27; Rev 19:11-16).
We believe that the lost and sinful humans must be saved (Rom 3:23), and that humans only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:7), who is the Son of God and who is also God the Son.
We believe in and we practice the holy ordinance of water baptism which signifies the believer's death, burial and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus (Rom 6:3-5)
We believe in the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord (Matt 26;26; Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25).
We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13) and
We also believe in the resurrection and immortality (1 Corinthians 15:53-54; 2 Tim 1;10; Rom 6:23).
PART 2: OUR LEADERSHIP
ZATEM is led by PM Ranyabu (the apostle) and SJ Ranyabu (the prophet) who are pioneers and visionaries of this church.
2.1 ABOUT PM RANYABU (The Apostle)
PM Ranyabu (the apostle) accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1991 and he spent his early years in the faith movement where he was grounded in the first principles of the word of God for seven years. It was in the same year that he received the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour that he was also baptised in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues (as the Spirit of the Lord gives utterance). It was at the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) Sweetwaters Assembly in New Eersterus where he was first called Mo-Apostolo (an apostle) by the late Evangelist Obed Monama. Although at that time he could not understand why he was called an apostle, he never-the-less accepted it as such. The apostle regards his time at AFM as his GILGAL experience.
In 1996, PM Ranyabu (the apostle) got married to SJ Ranyabu (the prophet), and in 1998 they relocated to the Pretoria CBD where the Lord led them to a charismatic church called Remnant Ministries International (RMI). They served at RMI for nine years as elders and in-house pastors. While at RMI, the Holy Spirit spoke to the apostle and inspired him to seek for a home where he would be prepared and trained in the apostolic and prophetic environment. The apostle regards his time at RMI as his BETHEL experience.
In in 2008, the Lord led him and his wife to Present Day Truth (PDT) Ministries which was a network of apostolic and prophetic churches under Apostle Maxwell Masala Ramashia. PDT Ministies Network was an Apostolic and Prophetic Network that provided a covering to more than 300 churches. Due to the hectic schedule required at PDT, Apostle PM Ranyabu took a break from his postgraduate studies in order to serve full-time in the house of the Lord as a chauffer and office administrator for Apostle Masala Maxwell Ramashia. As part of his ministry preparation and training, Apostle PM Ranyabu also enrolled as a student at PDT’s Tshisimani Apostolic & Prophetic School of Ministry, where he completed his ministry studies in the apostolic and prophetic spheres.
It was during the time when he was serving Apostle Masala Maxwell Ramashia at PDT that he learnt that indeed "God prepares a Man before He prepares a Ministry." Apostle PM Ranyabu has literally experienced an Elijah-Elisha encounter at Orchards in Pretoria North where Apostle Ramashia resided. One day Apostle PM Ranyabu decided to take a walk from Apostle Ramashia's home-based PDT office and went to the local Spar Supermarket in Orchards suburb. On his way back to the office, he was caught by a heavy downpour that rained on him and left him soaked in water. When he arrived back at the office, the great Apostle Ramashia borrowed him his lime-coloured long-sleeve shirt and a pair of track pants while the apostle's clothes were being dried in the washing machine by Prophet Portia Catherine Ramashia.
The moment the apostle put on the garments (or cloak) of the great Man of God, he experienced something that he could not express in words. Those garments were very HEAVY, very ROUGH and very WARM. Then, the Spirit of the Lord revealed to him that HEAVINESS speaks about RESPONSIBILITY; ROUGHNESS means that it WON'T BE EASY; and finally, WARMTH means that the transference of the anointing from that mantle or cloak WILL PROTECT him on his journey. From that moment onwards, the apostle experienced many ANGELIC VISITATIONS and other HEAVENLY ENCOUNTERS which were more similar to what Apostle Ramashia had experienced. The apostle documented all these devine experiences in his personal diary with dates and times. These uniquely divine encounters and experiences strengthened his faith, and gave him an assurance that "indeed, the God of Elijah and Elisha is still the same to this day."
The apostle is is also grateful to have further sat and received teachings of other matured and experienced leaders such as Apostle John Eckhardt, Apostle Thamo Naidoo, Apostle Mangaliso Matshobane, the late Apostle Tim Early, the late Apostle Kelly Varner, Dr Stevie Seutloali, Bishop JJ Mtsweni, Dr Mandla Maphalala and many other great men and women of God. He appreciates that through the teachings and impartations that he CAUGHT under these great men and women of God, a great value has been added upon his life.
His two favourite quotes are from the late Smith Wigglesworth and Apostle Maxwell Masala Ramashia respectively, and they read as follows:
SMITH WIGGLESWORTH: "God has priviledged us through Jesus Christ to live above the ordinary human plane of life. Those who want to be ordinary and live on a lower plane can do so, but as for me I will not"
MAXWELL RAMASHIA: "The biggest problem in this season is that most leaders who are in the front-line as well as those who are emerging, are teaching and writing from the “book”, which is the bible. However, most of them have an argument and not an experience. They have never had a personal one on one encounter with the Lord Himself; the writer of the “book”, as well as experiencing angelic manifestations. And like Peter I say, “We were with Him in the mountain, and we heard His voice, which voice shook the earth”. A person with an argument and not an experience cannot be helped”.
The apostle sums up his time at PDT as his JORDAN experience.
Among his theology and ministry qualifications, the apostle holds a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Omega Bible College (OBC), Bachelor of Ministry from Christian International School of Theology (CIST), Postgraduate Diploma in Biblical Studies from CIST, a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from AMES International School of Ministry (AISOM) just to name a few. He also has more than 30 additional specialist certificates covering other areas such as evangelism, eschatology and many other pertinent areas of ministry and theology. Upon completion of his ministry studies, Apostle PM Ranyabu returned to the university in order to complete his masters degree in business administration (ie. MBA) at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Business School.
The apostle is a teaching apostle by calling. He is also a writer, scribe and author. His first book that is about to be released is titled The Prophetic Pattern which is the first in a series of books that he intends to pen down. Other books in this series will be the following: (1) The Apostolic Pattern, (2) The Evangelistic Pattern, (3) The Pastoral Pattern, (4) The Teaching Pattern (5) The Anointing, (6) The 3-Fold Cord, (7) From the Anointing to the Glory, (8) The coming of the glory of the Lord, and (9) The coming of the Lord of glory.
From the beginning of 2016 until the end of 2019, the apostle and the prophet were deployed to VFWOC in Mamelodi under the leadership of Senior Prophet JJ Mtsweni and Prophettes SD Mtsweni where they faithfully served for five years as in-house pastors (though they had been previously odained as an apostle and prophet respectively). Unlike Elisha, who encountered Jericho before he could encounter Jordan, in the case of the apostle it was the other way round. Therefore, he regards his time at VFWOC as his JERICHO experience.
2.1.1 His Personal Philosophy
The apostle's anchor is grounded on the following three scriptures:
(i) Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17)
(ii) Face answers to face (Proverbs 27:19)

PART 3: OUR AFFILIATIONS & PARTNERSHIPS
ZATEM is an associate church of Apostoloc Churches Together (ACT) in Bhisho in East London, Eastern Cape Province which is under the leadership of Apostle Managaliso Matshobane and his wife, Prophet Beiky Matshobane, who are our Father-in-the-Lord and Mother-in-the-Lord respectively. ACT is a network of APOSTOLIC and PROPHETIC churches, similar to what PDT Network was.
PART 4: OUR WINE SKIN
Our wine skin is PARABLES. According to Matthew 13:34 and Mark 4:34, Jesus used only parables to teach his disciples and without parables, He did not teach them anything. According to 1st John 4:17, "as He (Jesus) is, so are we". Therefore, we teach among others in parables, allegories and typologies to declare and decipher (decode, decrypt, discern, dis-entangle, fathom, unravel, untangle or bring to the fore) what God is saying prophetically to our generation.
PART 5: OUR MINISTRIES AND DEPARTMENTS
For a hand to function properly as God intended, it must have all five fingers healthy and each playing its part. For a church to be healthy and function properly as God intended, it must also have all the five-fold ministry gifts in operation. It is important to bear in mind that, just like a hand, no single finger can function properly without the other four fingers.
Therefore at ZATEM , although we are primarily apostolic and prophetic, we also have the other three ministries (fingers) that are active and functional in our church.
At ZATEM, we have the following five-fold ministers as spelt out in Ephesians 4: 11-12 :
(i) PM Ranyabu, the apostle (Visionary & General Overseer) and is also the Chairperson of the Management Committeee
(ii) SJ Ranyabu, the prophet (Co-Visionary & Co-Overseer) and is also the Vice Chairperson of the Management Committee
(iii) Pastor Jane Mthimunye, the junior pastor and evangelist (Head of Evangelism) and is also the Secretary of the Management Committee
(iv) Pastor Christinah Mahlaole, the senior pastor (Head of Intercession & Baptism) and is also the Vice Secretary of the Management Committee
(v) Pastor Thipe Teane, junior pastor (Apostle's Armor Bearer) and is also the Treasurer of the Management Committee
(vI) Mr Koketso Promise Madubanya (Head of Transportation) and also Additional Member of the Management Committee

Our service times are as follows:
SUNDAY

PART 9: GIVING, OFFERINGS AND TITHES
9.1 WHY MUST WE GIVE, OFFER AND TITHE?
A total 16 out of 39 parables that Jesus taught talk about money. In addition, there are 500 verses on prayer, less than 500 verses on faith, but more than 2500 verses on money. The Bible teaches that all the money that we have actually belongs to God, not us. So, instead of spending all on ourselves, we should consistently and joyfully give a portion of it to the advancement of the kingdom of God through the church.
9.2 HOW MUST WE GIVE, OFFER AND TITHE?
As Christians, we are called to play our part in advancing the kingdom and the mission of Christ within our city, province, country and the world at large. One of the ways that we do this is through stewarding a portion of our finances through the local church. At Zadok Temple, this can be done in one of the following ways:
*Mobile point of sale (MPOS) / Speedpoint machine - You can do so by either inserting your card in the MPOS machine or by swipping or tapping your debit or credit card at our MPOS machine at any of our services or events.
*Electronic fund transfer (EFT) - If you would like to give electronically, please use the bank account details below.
*Cash - You can give your freewill offering by cash during any of our services. Alternatively, cash deposits can be made at the bank into the account details below. Please note for security reasons, we strongly encourage you to rather give electronically through either EFT or MPOS.
