Since the beginning of my scientific carreer in 2007-2008, I am involved in numerous teaching activities in the field of Electrical Power Engineering from the 3rd year of Bachelor to the second year of Master, successively as an F.R.S./FNRS Research Fellow (2008-2012) and as a Research and Teaching Assistant (2007, and 2012-present) at the Electrical Power Engineering Unit of UMONS. The Master in Electrical Engineering is fully given in English since 2016-2017. More particularly, I have intensively participated to:
the supervision of student lab sessions for courses on Electrical Machines (steady-state and transients), Power Electrical Networks (steady-state and transients, protection), Power Electronics.
the teaching of lessons for the new "Smart Grids" course give by Prof. F. Vallée, Prof. O. Deblecker and Prof. V. Moeyaert (2nd year of Master in Electrical Power Engineering). I created an entirely new module on Data Analytics for Smart Grids, that I gave for the first time in 2017-2018.
the supervision of exercices sessions in Electrical Machines
the supervision of projects in Power Electrical Networks and Computational Electromagnetics
Beyond teaching activities, I am also involved in the proposition and the supervision of student projects from the first year of Bachelor (BAB1) to the the second year of Master in Engineering (MAB2):
Master theses (MAB2), where I try to introduce the Master student to the job of a reserahcre
Industrial studies (MAB1), which consist in student projects motivated by the pragmatic needs of our industrial contacts, and are co-supervised by academic and industrial partners.
BAB3 projects, where I propose technical projects in the field of Electrical Power Engineering to be conducted by teams of 2 to 3 students (e.g. realisation of a solid -state Tesla coil in 2017-2018)
BAB1 and BAB2 projects, which are general engineering projects conducted by teams of 7 students approximately with well-defined roles, for which I act as a (non-technical) coach.
A full list of supervised projects since 2007 can be consulted in my full academic CV (in French).
