Data and economics offer powerful ways to solve real-world business problems. Beyond academia, I have worked extensively in industry where I apply causal inference, forecasting, and econometric methodology at scale.
I previously served as a Senior Economist at Amazon, where I led a team of economists to develop surrogate index models that estimate the downstream impact of large numbers of experiments efficiently. This work enabled faster evaluation of business decisions without requiring full experimentation cycles each time — helping teams generalize results, prioritize product changes, and evaluate tradeoffs more reliably. I also applied extreme value theory to study rare yet high-impact HR outcomes, including extreme attrition events, and developed methods to better understand and forecast organizational risks.
Separately, I hold a New Jersey real estate license and work as a sales associate with Coldwell Banker, where I advise residential and commercial clients, conduct pricing and market analyses, and enjoy bringing economic thinking into everyday decisions.
I am always interested in collaborating with firms, research teams, or data-driven organizations looking to apply econometrics, causal inference, forecasting, or analytical modeling to complex business challenges. If your organization is exploring such opportunities, I would be glad to connect.
