Yuanyang Liu
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Analytics and Statistics in the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I obtained my Ph.D. in Management Science from the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa, advised by Gautam Pant. My scholarly work explores the dynamic relationship among technological advancements, organizational structure, and the changing nature of work. My active research endeavors include examining the complementarity among employee skills, the talent accessibility constraint for firms’ AI adoption, and the broader societal implications of AI, such as economic disparity, job skill dilution, and the availability of entry-level job opportunities. His insights offer valuable guidance for individuals, policymakers, and corporate leaders aiming to enhance workforce development initiatives, particularly in reskilling employees to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented in the age of AI.
