Research
My current research focuses on distilling knowledge from large volumes of text resources on the web. I am particularly interested in using probabilistic methods to extract knowledge from natural language texts, to understand unstructured natural language texts, and to build bricks towards automatic knowledge base construction. Besides the main stream, I am also involved in exciting topics in multimedia modelling and social computing.
My current projects are mainly supported by NSFC, RGC, the MOST, and partners from industry .
