The amp's cabinet is made from wide pine boards fingerjointed together. It was made by a bandmate, John Saylor. The speaker is a 16 ohm THD Longhorn, which is a Celestion that has been chemically aged to make the cone more compliant. The dangling wires in the back view are for a side-mounted fan. I have a problem with combo amp designs that hang the tubes upside down and let the tubes cook the components above, so I install fans to move the heat away.

The lack of terminal strips inside the amp makes the wiring look messy, and did lead to early mistakes. I added the terminal board later to help prototype circuit ideas.
