I study how people make decisions in complex political and economic environments-where beliefs and emotions can be as influential as incentives. As an applied microeconomist specializing in behavioral and political economy, I use theory, experiments, and empirical analysis to better understand real-world decision-making.
I’ve been teaching economics to students of diverse nationalities at a wide range of institutions---from large U.S. public universities like Rutgers and Appalachian State, to a top liberal arts college like Colby, as well as national and private universities in Korea such as Pukyong National University and Konkuk University. You can also check out the courses I’ve taught under the Teaching tab.
You’ll also find snapshots from my past and present life across different regions-New Jersey/New York, Appalachian/North Carolina, Maine/New England (USA), and Sejong, Busan, and Seoul (Korea).
I'm opening a behavioral & experimental economics lab at Konkuk University. If you want to know more about the lab, click K-BEEL!
