Orchid Isle Orchestra: Bridge to a New World

Sunday, May 17, 2026, 4 P.M. at Hilo High School

Come help celebrate OIO's 20th year of performances in Hilo. Winds, brass, and percussion players join the strings for A New World Festival, a Todd Parrish arrangement based on Dvorak's New World Symphony Finale. This arrangement is written for beginning, intermediate and advanced string players, so community/student players at all levels can join the fun. OIO's core strings will present Frank Bridge's Suite for Strings; music from Haydn's London Symphony, and Impromptu by Sibelius.
