Yosufi Allah Dad Carpet Manufacturing Company was established in 2000 in Pakistan. We then moved to Afghanistan and started our business. We set up our offices and production center, and registered our company with ASIA and the Ministry of Commerce in 2013. In the beginning, we were a small company, but after our products caught the interest of customers, Yosufi Allah Dad Carpet Manufacturing Company became known for its specific products in the Afghan market and later in international markets.
Afghan handwoven carpet is created by knotting dyed wools or silk wools. Afghanistan's hand-woven carpet is 100% traditionally woven by hand with different designs and colors by carpet weavers who generally have less facilities.
The carpet weaving industry in Afghanistan has a long history and in recent years it constitutes the major part of Afghanistan's export sector. The competitiveness of the Afghan carpet industry is recognized to a large extent through the skills of Afghan carpet weavers in producing high quality carpets. The Afghan government, the private sector, non-governmental organizations and international industrialists have fully understood the importance of the carpet sector because the said industry has been an important source of income for the residents of the villages, especially for women who have lost their economic capabilities during the years of war, a good factor. It is to create job opportunities and eliminate poverty.
Chobrang / Colored wood carpet has been used for a decade. Afghan immigrant carpet weavers, who immigrated to Pakistan for three decades due to various factors, have been able to replace traditional carpets with wood-colored carpets with modern designs.
