Lectures confirmed so far for the 2019-2020 lecture programme:


Our speaker is Mr Ziad Estephan, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, who will be speaking on Retinal Vein Occlusion.  The lecture has been approved for 1 CET point for Optoms and DOs.  Mr Estephan is an accomplished speaker and his presentation will include videos of intravitreal injections.


Prof J Siderov, Head of Optometry at Huddersfield University, will speak on "What should I do with these kids? - Managing paediatric binocular vision problems in primary practice."  1 CET point.  Prof Siderov will also talk to us about the Optometry course at Huddersfield University.


Mr Keith Davey, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, will speak on "Refracting of, and prescribing for, children".

The lecture has been approved for 1 CET point for both Optoms and DOs.

Subscriptions for the new lecture season are due for payment.  There will be 6 lectures in this season and we will aim for you to be able to get all the CET points you need for this year.  The subscription fee is unchanged at £50, which you can pay by credit card at the meeting, or by cheque or BACS in advance (contact Treasurer, Anna, for details).  The cost for attendance at a single meeting is £20.
