The YCSPEA Board would like to make all members and potential members aware of the following calendar items that are coming up in the month of January:
January 17th thru January 30th – Letters of Interest: Many thanks to our board members who are completing two year terms of service. Letters of Interest to serve as a YCSPEA Board member will be accepted through January 30th at 5pm. Letters of Interest properly submitted will qualify the individual to be placed on the ballot for elections. Please submit your letters to our YCSPEA Secretary Jaime Gordon by the deadline.
January 31st - General Membership Meeting @ 12pm: Please join us in person in the Community Room at the Gonzalez Building or via Zoom as we host our annual membership meeting. Agenda items include our Annual Report from the Board, Elections, Scholarships and other business brought forward by the membership.
January 31st thru February 7th – Elections: All members will have an opportunity to cast their votes for new board members during this period of time. Polls open at the end of our membership meeting and will close promptly at 5pm on February 7th. Results will be tallied and certified by two board members and shared with the membership the next day.
A reminder that dues paying members receive benefits such as being able to serve on the board, vote on association business and most importantly to be entitled to professional representation. If you are not a dues paying member and would like to become one, please respond to this email and we’ll setup a time to meet and discuss.
