Yogeshwar Bharat

I am a Research Director at CAFRAL (Reserve Bank of India) and I joined the organization in September 2022. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University in August 2022. My Thesis advisers were Prof. Raoul Minetti, Prof. Susan Zhu, and Dr. Qingqing Cao.

My primary field of interest includes Banking, Macroeconomics, Trade, and Emerging Market Economies. I am also interested in exploring empirically the effect of various policies on firm dynamics. 

I am on the 2024-25 job market with my Job Market Paper and will be available for interviews.
