About me

I am an assistant professor at Hanyang University, South Korea since Sep. 2016.

My research background is in machine learning, probabilistic models and unsupervised learning. I received her B.S. and M.S. in industrial engineering from Hanyang University and earned her second M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from University Paris 6, France. I completed two post-doctoral fellowships at University of Avignon and at University of Lyon 2. I was a senior researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) from Feb. 2014 to Aug. 2016.

I was a postdoctoral researcher in ERIC Lab. at University Lyon 2. My advisor was Julien Velcin, associate professor at University Lyon 2. I was working on a research project "Modeling and analysis dynamics of web reputation" funded by ANR IMAGIWEB. Before I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in LIA at University of Avignon with Patrice Bellot, professor at Aix-Marseille University, on a research project "Robust and Language Independent Machine Learning Approaches for Automatic Annotation of Bibliographical References in DH Books, Articles and Blogs" funded by Google Digital Humanities Research Awards and ANR CAAS. I received my Ph.D. in computer science from University Paris 6 (Document Clustering in a Learned Concept Space, Dec. 2010) under the direction of Prof. Patrick Gallinari and Prof. Massih-Reza Amini. I'm interested in using machine learning techniques for information extraction and retrieval.
