I am an assistant professor of operations management at the Culverhouse College of Business, University of Alabama. 

My primary research interests lie in the interface of finance, operations, and risk management (such as supply chain risk management, operational risk management, or strategic financial decisions) and emerging technologies in service operations (such as digital supply chains or renewable energy technologies). To study these research domains, I have used analytical models as well as empirical methods. My research has been published at Management Science, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, among others.

Prior to joining the University of Alabama, I  received my Ph.D. in operations management from the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and I obtained B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from KAIST, South Korea.
