Welcome to my homepage!

I am now a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Before joining SUSTech, I was an Assistant Professor at School of Statistics and Data Science, Nankai University. I obtained my PhD degree with a focus on actuarial science in Sep. 2018 at Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, The University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Prof. Ka Chun Cheung.

My research interest covers several hot topics arising in risk management, actuarial science, applied probability and reliability theory, including optimal reinsurance design, systemic risks, credibility theory, stochastic orders and comparisons, reliability analysis and optimization et al. Part of my research has been published in some prestigious journals in actuarial science and reliability engineering. See my full publications for more details.

Hiring Information: I am now recruiting two postdoctor fellows with a focus on any research direction among optimal (re)insurance, credibility theory, systemic risks, risk measures, dependent risk models, stochastic orders, or reliability theory and statistics.
