Short Biography

Yinfei Yang is a research scientist at Apple AI/ML working on vision and language foundation models. Before Apple, He worked at Google research on various natural language processing problems including semantic retrieval, multilingual representation, and multimodal representation. Prior to that, He also worked at Redfin and Amazon as research engineers for machine learning and computer vision problems. His research focuses on image and text representation learning for retrieval and transferring tasks. He is generally interested in problems in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or combined.
