Lo-Yao Yeh (Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science at National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
He is currently an Associate Professor at National Central University, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. From 2011 to 2020, he served as an Associate Researcher at the National Center for High-Performance Computing, Hsinchu. During this time, he established a blockchain team and collaborated with various government agencies in Taiwan on blockchain initiatives. Notably, he worked with the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, to implement blockchain technology for recording civil servants' rewards, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations. This initiative enhances data integrity by preventing tampering and significantly reduces paper usage, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly government.
His research interests include applied cryptography, blockchain, network security, vehicular network security, and botnet detection. He has published several high-impact articles in leading journals, including IEEE TKDE, TMC, TEM, TDSC, TITS, TMM, TCC, TNSM, and ACM TKDD, TOMM.
