For Online SPA 101 students only
Recording (on www.lingtlanguage.com/cklein02)
Record your voice in response to the prompts!
--Ch.5A Recording--What Are You Doing? (ando/iendo)
--Ch.5B Recording--Halloween y el Tiempo
You'll need to read the prompt; then click on the white voice bubble on the right, allow your mic to be accessed, then record your response (remember to shoot for 30 seconds to 1 minute recordings). While recording, the bubble will flash orange. Click the bubble again to stop recording. Click the bubble again (it now should be solid orange) to playback your recording (playback has been a little buggy lately, but I can hear your recording on my end, not to worry). If you want to re-record, click the orange "X" in the upper right corner above the voice bubble. Finally click the "Submit" button in the lower right corner, enter your email address and your Spanish first name and given surname, then, you're done! If you want to see a video tutorial showing you how to make these recordings, check out the recordings help tutorial video!
Additionally, if you are having difficulty with making a recording you can also send me, via email, a recording using your webcam/mic to record through the following services:

Evaluation activity:
Click here to go to the Chapter Five evaluation (quiz, two attempts), (have your username and password ready) and thus finish up Chapter Five.
Final Evaluations
Click here to go to the Chapter Five Composition (here, you must also have your username and password ready).
A note about the composition: You need to use proper accent marks. I highly suggest that you write the composition in a word processor and then cut and paste it into the textbox. There is no time limit however, so if you want to use the textbox itself with the "clickable" accent marks that the program affords you, you may, but beware; you may lose your work if the the Internet goes down. To learn how to insert accented vowels in MS Word click on my accent marks page.

Don't forget to sign up for the Oral interview here (this is also where you can find the Oral Interview study guide and the procedure for this interview).
Also, don't forget to finish and email me the children's book project. See syllabus for instructions and examples (and here for an example).
The final written exam will be proctored. You can either come to the Yavapai College Prescott Campus on July 22nd at 8pm, (building 3, room 216) or if you live at a distance which would make attending the Prescott Campus an impossibility, you may have your exam proctored by a university, community college or other testing center in your area (a fee may apply for this service). Once you have found a proctor, you need to send me their information as soon as possible so that I can arrange to get them the test. If you have not sent me the information prior to July 15th, it is unlikely that you will be able to sit for the final exam and that you will receive a zero, a score which would dramatically impact your final grade. The final written exam is based on your first two exams and on the chapter five quiz.
