About Me

History

I grew up in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, and did my undergraduate degree at Massey University. Then I moved to Melbourne, Australia, and did an Honours degree and a PhD at the University of Melbourne. You can read more about that here and here.

After completing my PhD, I worked in postdoctoral research positions at:

  • The University of Melbourne, with Peter Hall (2005-2010);
  • University of Bordeaux 1, with Jean-François Marckert and Mireille Bousquet-Mélou (2010-2011);
  • The University of Vienna, with Christian Krattenthaler (2011-2012);
  • University of Montpellier 2, with Celine Scornavacca and Vincent Ranwez (2012-2013).

From 2013-2015, I was a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the School of Mathematics and Physics, The University of Queensland.
