Yacht racing

You love racing with sailing boats and own an android mobile phone, preferably waterproof. You have problems with starting on time. Yacht Timer could be your solution. It also gives speed and tactics feedback.

Normal Watches

You have tried normal wristwatches but find it difficult to start sometimes because you miss a startsignal and then everything goes out of sync when you hear the next signal and the start will become distracted by time issues. No speed and tactics from the phone but you might have a tacktick compass.

YachtTimer

Now just push 4 when you hear the first signal. If this was the 5 push 4 again at the next signal or otherwise you have the correct time. (If you are sure it was the correct 5 signal push 5 instead). You will have audio feedback and large timer. You will also get tactical feedback on when to tack or give.

New features. You can now use the app to see your speed and it will tell you the difference since the last reading in tens of knots. You can also mute

the sound if you want it to be silent. Please note that the app is free of commercials and also free of inapp purchases but it costs a small amount of

money. Latest feature is tactic. The app will tell you when to tack based on your direction. Just make sure you press winddir button when you are sailing straight into the wind. It will also help you give downwind.
