Xinfei Guo is a Chip Design Engineer and a researcher in semiconductor industry. Before joining industry, he 
received his Ph.D. of Computer Engineering in May 2018 from the University of Virginia, where he worked in the High-performance Low-power (hplp) Lab under the supervision of Prof. Mircea StanHe also received a M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Mixed-signal design focus) from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, in 2012 and a B.S. degree in Electronic Material Science from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2010. Dr. Guo has broad interests and experiences in VLSI Design, Microarchitectures and Hardware Development. His PhD research focused on Design for Reliability (represented by "Accelerated Active Self-Healing Techniques"), Novel Microarchitectures for IoT and Hardware Security, Low-power and Energy-efficient Digital Design and CAD Design Methodology. His current work and research interests include Novel Physical Design Methodology with Advanced Nodes, Intelligent Hardware and Open-source Hardware (OSH). He has authored and co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications (including a book) and has served as active reviewers or committee for numerous IEEE/ACM conferences and journals. His work has been recognized by several international awards
