Jimi Hendrix built Electric Lady Studios and lived nearby. It
feels like a spaceship inside & its curved walls are hand-
painted with murals of lady space travelers.
Most Eighth Street pedestrians aren't aware of this hidden
Studio Complex where Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling
Stones, XES, and others have recorded music.
A bare lightbulb and a rough metal door are outside with a
small brass sign as the only clue that 'something' is there.
Very high profile musicians are its only clients.

Audio Engineer Dave Wittman ('DW' initials on box) had
recorded XES Masters 3 months before doing Zeppelins'
tapes, a photo is below and one is on the previous page

These cash paying clients cannot approach the Intensity of
XES's music because their stuff is just conservative crap
XES had been invited to record at Electric Lady Studio "A"
and at no-charge because of being a completely radical
neighborhood entity during the very early studio days
