There are mainly 3 types of network. Peer to Peer, Point to Multi-point, and Mesh Network.

For a personal electronics project, the peer to peer type or point to multi-point type may be selected. For the industrial automation application, the point to multi-point type or mesh network type may be used.

Zigbee networks always have a only one single coordinator device.
