what's in a name

I thought it would be interesting to give some etymology of my online monikers here.

Arioch is the god of chaos in the Elric_of_Melniboné a series of books by Michael Moorcock.

The site stormbringer.net has very good summary of the characters, places, and story from the books.

I have been using a picture of Altair for my profile. I like the name for two intended reasons.

• The photo is of Altair from Assassin's Creed. A game I really enjoyed.
• But it also has the dual meaning of the Altair computer, which is generally recognized as the first personal computer.

Altair also happens to be the name of star in the Aquila constellation.

Altair Jarabo is an attractive model turned actress.
