I have been breeding canary's for about 20 years. Like most people with fifes, I started with borders,10 years ago the borders was getting to large and I was not rich enough to buy them. a friend of mine had a good strain of fifes and he gave me 5 pairs, the next breeding season it was that year I had the best variegated yellow cock at the National in a class of 80.this bird turned out to be a yellow Hen I am married, have 3 children, and 8 grandchildren, and drive a lorry for a living
